Prophet Nana Yaw Osei Tutu, aka Prophet 99, General Overseer and Founder of Yehowa Beye Prayer Ministry, has instructed presidential candidate Ghana Union Movement (GUM), Rev. Christian Kwabena Andrews, to go to the Electoral Commission (EC) and collect his filing fee because he will not win the elections.
He was perplexed as to why, as a self-proclaimed powerful prophet, he had not made significant progress in convincing Ghanaians to vote for him in the upcoming presidential election.
On Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, he stated that the man of God is not even in the top five, so he should forget about the election.
According to him, the prophet has denigrated the prophetic and Christian ministries.
He stated, ”Osofo Kyiri Abosom should return to the EC and request that his filing fee be returned. He is not part of the race. If you claim to be a prophet, claiming that God has endowed you with powers and the ability to destroy idols, you are the second Elijah. So, if God is indeed calling you to go and deliver Ghanaians from hardship, and that God is the same God who gave you the direction to promise to restore the late Nkrumah’s agenda and plan for Ghana, why has that God refused to give you the direction on how to win the elections?
You finished third in the first election and are now fighting to compete, but your name is not among the top two candidates. He will finish fifth once the results are announced. You profess to be a man of God, receiving money and giving people guidance, yet you can’t win an election. Isn’t that strange? This implies that you are not a prophet yet have claimed to be one. God has not called you to be a prophet. If you fail to win the polls as a prophet, you have discredited the prophetic ministry and office,” he told host Kwabena Agyapong.
