A 40-year-old man nicknamed Batman lost his nose after his fiancée, Abena Dora, 32, bit it off for Gh¢1,500 in Buduatta, Gomoa East Metropolitan Assembly of the Central Region.
According to the information gathered, the woman and the victim had separated, but Batman went to her room during her absence to remove a television he had purchased for her.
When she returned from the market, the woman, who is now in police custody, accused him (victim) of stealing GHC 1,500.
Reporting the incident on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, Oheneba Ademah said Abena Dora rushed to a spot where the victim was playing draft and confronted him about her allegedly stolen money.
She claimed to have left the money behind the television, and when the victim came in to remove it, he allegedly stole.
Batman denied the allegation, but the situation escalated, and Abena Dora allegedly butted him in the nose.
He (Batman) is currently appealing to the Ghanaian public for assistance in seeking medical care because he is in critical condition.
