President Akufo-Addo has appointed Mr. Herbert Krapah as the substantive Energy Minister.
Until his confirmation, he was acting as the Energy Minister following the resignation of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, who was appointed the running mate for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
His appointment is effective November 19, 2024.
This was contained in a statement issued and signed by the Director of Communications at the Presidency, Eugene Arhin.
The statement said that “in recognition of his hard work and leadership, President Akufo-Addo is confident that Mr. Krapah will continue to distinguish himself in his new role, ensuring the continued growth and transformation of the energy sector in service to the action.
