President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has stated that his vice president, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is more capable and well-prepared to be elected president in the upcoming December 7 elections.
The President posited that Dr. Bawumia, who is the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is described as a leader who will take Ghana to greater heights.
He admonished Ghanaian voters to vote massively for him on December 7 because of his extensive experience and clear vision for advancing the country’s development.
Speaking at a gathering of professional bodies in Kumasi on Sunday, November 24, 2024, he advised Ghanaians not to repeat the mistake of 2008, when the NPP lost power.
“We have two people who are in the race. One, a failed president and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. There are four other people who have had the blessing of the Almighty and the support of the people of Ghana to become presidents of Ghana.Tourism packages
“Jerry John Rawlings, John Agyekum Kufuor, John Dramani Mahama, and myself. Of all these, Jerry John Rawlings had a second term, John Agyekum Kufuor had a second term, and Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo had a second term.
“The only one who was not given a second term was John Dramani Mahama and the reason is that he did a poor job.”
