The Ghana Police Service has arrested 26 individuals for brandishing and indiscriminate use of toy guns.

The suspects the police said are assisting them with their investigation and will put them before court to face justice.
A statement issued by the police said a quantity of the guns have been retrieved from the suspects as part of the ongoing investigation.

The police revealed investigations were also underway to arrest other suspects connected to the issue.

It then cautioned the public against the brandishing and indiscriminate use of the guns.

The police affirmed that such an act goes contrary to Section 207 of the Criminal Offences Act, 1960 (Act 29).
