Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on Monday, November 25, 2024, commissioned an ultra-modern head office complex in Accra for the Lands Commission.
At the commissioning, the Vice President, who is also the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, indicated that the commissioning of the office complex and the digital initiatives undertaken by the Commission mark a significant transformation.
He said it is also a clear departure from the challenges the Commission faced with office space and handling of documents when I paid a surprise visit there in February 2018.
Having assured the government’s commitment to addressing the challenges, the completion of the new head office complex, as well as the support the government has offered to the transformative digital interventions, demonstrates our commitment to modernising land administration, he stated.
He pledged to run a robust and well functioning administration if elected as President.
According to him, his administration will deliver a sustainable economic development, social cohesion and vibrant investment climate.
“As President, by the grace of God, my administration will continue to ensure a robust, well-functioning land administration system for sustainable economic development, social cohesion, and a vibrant investment climate, he pledged.”
