The Head of Corporate Communications of Ghana National Gas Company (GNGC), Ernest Owusu-Bempah Bonsu, says the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will win the 2024 general elections.
He said unlike in the 2020 elections, where the party struggled and is currently struggling in parliament due to the hand parliament, the party will not give anyone a dog chance in this year’s election.
He stated that no person or individual contesting as an independent candidate will defeat the party’s elected parliamentary candidate.
We currently have a hung parliament. A parliament with 136 seats, and without the independent candidate Asiamah, the party would have struggled. This time, we are not giving anyone a chance that someone running as an independent candidate will defeat our candidates. It will never happen on our watch. I’m telling you today. If anyone asks, please quote my voice. “It will never happen,” he told Dr. Ren on Rainbow Radio 92.4FM, UK.
He was optimistic that the achievements and sterling record of the Nana Addo-led administration would win them both the presidential and parliamentary elections.
”I have already declared that the NPP will win the elections with 50.9% of valid votes cast. Dr. Mahamusu Bawumia will be elected President of the Republic of Ghana. I declared a prophetic word. I want to remember today’s date. You will call me back,” he told the host when asked if Andrew Appiah Kubi would be able to win the Asante Akim North constituency seat and serve a third term without changing his mind.
