Research firm GlobalInfo Analytics predicts that John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) presidential candidate, will win by 52.2 percent.
The firm’s data also showed that the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is expected to receive 41.4%.
Other candidates, such as independent Nana Kwame Bediako and Alan Kyeremanten, are predicted to receive 3.0% and 2.5% of the vote, respectively, while minor candidates make up 0.9%.
For the parliamentary election, the umbrella family is expected to win the majority of seats in the House, with 150 out of 276 seats, while the NPP will win 99.
Meanwhile, one independent candidate is expected to win, while 29 constituencies remain extremely competitive and too close to call.
