President Akufo-Addo has urged Ghanaian voters to vote for the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, on December 7.
The President said the Vice President is fully prepared to take over from him as the next leader.
Akufo-Addo stated that his vice president is well equipped with the skills to lead the country into the 4th industrial revolution.
“December 7 is about the future development of our country. Bawumia is well prepared to take over from me. Vote for Bawumia-No 1 and all the NPP parliamentary candidates,” the President urged.
“Vote for someone who knows how to survive the 4th industrial revolution. A leader who understands what it takes to succeed in the 4th industrial revolution. We are looking for someone who has a clear plan,” he asserted.
President Akufo-Addo made the call when he addressed the final rally of the NPP on December 5, 2024, at the Legon Sports Stadium.
He further asked the voters to vote for the 276 parliamentary candidates “who are all number one on the ballot.”
