The Ministry of Interior has announced a temporary closure of land borders ahead of the 2024 general elections.
A statement issued by the Ministry said the closure of the borders forms part of efforts aimed at ensuring the integrity of the elections.
The temporal closure takes immediate effect and ends at 6:00 pm on Sunday, December 8, 2024.
It has therefore urged all citizens and travellers from Ghana to cooperate with the security agencies in enforcing this directive.
