A group associated with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has disrupted a
press conference organised by the party in Kumasi, led by organiser Joseph Yamin.
The group reportedly disrupted the press, demanding the leadership of the party get to the grounds and deal with the problem instead of holding a press conference.
One of the young men was seen kicking a table at the party’s office, shouting, “This is foolish talk. If you want your party to come to power, what do you have to do?”
“This is not how you go about it,” he said.
The press conference had to be brought to an end.
Journalists and other persons who were present at the press conference had to find their way out.
Reports coming in also indicate that the group locked up Joseph Yamin and the NDC Ashanti Regional Vice Chair John Kwame Jabari.
