Voting has resumed in the Flame of Wisdom Polling Station in the Ablekuma North constituency.
Voting was suspended after the biometric device for the polling station developed a fault.
One voter had cast a ballot, and the second person was in line to vote when the device developed a fault.
Reporting from the polling station, Rainbow Radio’s reporter, Danny Fii Abrantie, revealed that voting started and one individual managed to cast the ballot.
The electoral officer at the station, Joseph Apprey, confirmed this to our reporter and revealed efforts were underway to rectify the situation.
Providing an update on the situation, he reported that the situation has been resolved and voting resumed.
He added that approximately 700 registered voters are expected to vote at the polling station, and at the time of filing the report, more than 100 voters were waiting in queue to cast their ballot.
