One person has been shot dead at Nyankpala in the Northern region.
Several others have also sustained serious injuries.
This was confirmed by Rainbow Radio’s Prince Kwame Tamakloe.
The Ghana Police Service has also confirmed the incident and arrested four persons over the shooting incident that led to the death of one person.
The four persons include Majid Issah, Fodi Issiage Kamara, YakubuSimalia,a and Alhaji Bashiru Mohamed.
The police, in a brief statement, said the injured victim is currently receiving medical care, while the body of the deceased has been taken to the mortuary for preservation and autopsy.
The suspects are currently in custody and assisting the police investigation.
