The police have confirmed the deaths of two people during the presidential and legislative elections.
According to police, two people died in different events.
The first fatality happened in Nyankpala, Northern Region, as a result of a shooting, the Police.
The second death occurred in Kasoa’s Awutu Senya East Constituency, which is part of Central Region.
According to the latest police update, eight people have been apprehended in connection with the two distinct events.
It also guaranteed the public of comprehensive investigations to bring the offenders to justice and keep the peace during the voting process.
