The Deputy Electoral Commissioner, Samuel Tettey, has underscored the need for journalists to verify information, especially election results, before sharing it with the public.
He made the remarks while providing an update on the elections at a press conference.
He encouraged them to prioritise accuracy in their reporting.
“We urge the media to always verify, or cross-check, their information, as well as, importantly, the results they put in the public domain.”
