Dr. Clement Apaak, a retained Member of Parliament for the Builsa South constituency, expressed excitement over former President John Dramani Mahama’s impressive victory in the presidential election.
Dr. Apaak, Mahama’s campaign spokesperson, stated that his victory was decisive because the people trusted him to deliver.
He also described Mahama as a man of destiny who will fulfil his mandate given the trust Ghanaian voters have placed in him.
Apaak had no doubt that Ghanaians would vote overwhelmingly for former President Mahama.
He referred to Mahama’s victory as historic, saying it may never be repeated in Ghana’s political history.
In a post on X formerly Twitter said ‘’Man of Destiny is what I call him.
I’ve always believed in him and never had a doubt that Ghanaians would give him a second chance. His election is a historic occurrence that may never be repeated. First; elected on two different occasions; have a female veep; huge Parl majority’’.
The 2024 general elections produced an unexpected result, with some claiming that former President John Dramani Mahama will become Ghana’s most powerful president in history.
The elections saw the National Democratic Congress (NDC) reclaim power, with former President John Dramani Mahama emerging as President-Elect. They also won the majority of seats in parliament.
