Bishop Emmanuel Owusu Ansah, the founder and general overseer of Kingdom Life Ministries, a vibrant multicultural church in London, UK, with several branches in Ghana, has asked Ghanaians to accept the outcome of the elections.
The respected man of God, preacher, and theologian asserted that the choice of God has been released, and the nation and Ghanaians ought to accept it and forge ahead in unity.
According to him, we should not dispute or contend with what God has given to us.
He said,’We believe God has already spoken, and Ghana has also spoken, and Ghana is excited with the leader God has given us.’’
He has told the prophets who prophesied about others’ victories but did not come true to shut up and seek God’s face.
He said, ”God did not only reveal a leader that is befitting for the social and economic development of Ghana, but also God has revealed false prophets. By this election, you can distinguish between true prophets and false prophets, and the false prophets are destroying our nation”.
He lamented that false prophets are telling lies that God has not said, and I heard some curse themselves, threatening to burn themselves if this man does not win.
He was also shocked to learn that some people had promised to return to idol worship if their prophecies did not come true.
Bishop Ansah described these false prophecies and actions as pure foolishness that has been exposed.
‘’Ghana is suffering from false prophecy by false prophets. Let me tell you why I am serious: there were not only religious conflicts and not only tribal conflicts, not only political or partisan conflicts, but there were also prophetic conflicts. Creating confusion between members—what my pastor said is contrary to what my pastor said, and that alone is creating conflict—we thank God that the voice of God is clear, and by this clarity, we want to appreciate God for giving us a leader. I don’t want to argue; I don’t want to fall into any debate. I don’t want to be a citizen contrary to our democratic values. I want to appreciate democracy for making people choose their leader.”
