Dr. Clement Apaak, Member of Parliament for Builsa South, has retained his seat in the December 7, 2024 parliamentary election.
He claimed that his election victory demonstrates that his constituents believe he can do more for them than he has already done.
Dr. Apaak, the Deputy Ranking Member of Parliament’s Education Committee, stated that voters chose him because they value his truthfulness, integrity, credibility, modesty, honesty, and accountability.
He pledged to use his third term as their MP for much more and was hopeful that with President John Dramani Mahama as leader, he will address the many challenges confronting the people.
Dr. Apaak extended gratitude to God for the victory and thanked his campaign team, led by Chairman Cesar Akinka.
‘’I must also thank the entire NDC family of Builsa South, but ultimately this victory has been occasioned because the people of Builsa South had continued to maintain faith in me. They believe that I am capable of doing more than I have done, and they believe I have been truthful, honest, and sincere with them. Honesty, modesty, and indeed accountability have won the day. It is my solemn pledge that I am preparing to take up the responsibility of representing the people of Builsa South for a third term. I would be able to do more than I have done in the past.
He assured the people that the next government led by Mr. John Dramani Dramani Mahama will address the troubling challenges facing Ghanaians in general and Builsa South in particular. Foremost on the list is the issue of our roads, followed by the fact that many of our communities are yet to be connected to the national GRID. In addition, the matter of youth unemployment and the challenges faced by farmers are very dear to the people of Builsa South. I will do my best as the MP for Builsa South in the 9th Parliament and hopefully a member in good standing of the NDC to bring to Builsa South the needed development. I will continue to fight for the people of Builsa South day and night, and that is the solemn pledge that I, Clement Apaak, continue to make for the people of Builsa South.”
