The Ghana Police Service has launched an investigation into the fire outbreak at the Kwashieman Cluster of Schools.
The school building was used as a storage for the ballot boxes used for the Ablekuma North constituency elections.
The parliamentary election for the constituency is currently being disputed by the two major political parties, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The police, in a statement, said any individual or group of individuals found to be responsible for the outbreak would be prosecuted.
The police asked the public to remain calm as the investigation was underway.
The statement added that the 132 persons arrested in connection with the post-election-related violent activities are still going through due process of the law.
It said 45 of these suspects have been remanded in custody while 71 are on police inquiry bail.
