The Parliamentary Service has responded to the vandalism of several vehicles on Parliament grounds.
Earlier reports suggested that one young person was seen vandalising some vehicles on the grounds of parliament.
However, a statement issued by the Parliamentary Service revealed that two people had been arrested in connection with the incident. They have been identified as Wisdom Ahie (42) and Christopher Okyere (33).
The statement signed and issued by David Sebastian Damoah, Director, Media Relations, said five vehicles were vandalised.
The vehicles that were parked at the precincts of parliament were two Toyota Land Cruisers belonging to MPs, a Toyota RAV4, and two Toyota Camrys belonging to staff of the Parliamentary Service.
According to the statement, the two suspects were swiftly arrested by personnel of the Parliamentary Service Unit and have since been handed over to the Ghana Police for further investigation.
