After the recollation exercise conducted by the Electoral Commission (EC), Frank Annor-Dompreh of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) was declared the winner of the Nsawam Adoagyiri constituency.
By the official declaration, the incumbent MP secured 29,640 votes, whereas the NDC candidate secured 29,433 votes.
The total votes cast were 59,779, with 473 rejected ballots.
The valid votes cast were 59,306.
After the declaration, the MP attributes the victory to God.
In his remarks, the incumbent MP said “I look forward to serving the constituency and working with all stakeholders to continue our development agenda”.
