Hon. Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah of the New Patriotic Party has been declared the winner of the Techiman South parliamentary elections.
He was declared the winner after the recollation exercise that was conducted at the Greater Accra Regional EC office.
Martin Adjei Mensah Korsah polled 46,663 votes while Christopher Beyere of the NDC polled 43,429.
The court ordered a re-collation of the declared results of the Techiman South constituency, which became a focal point of controversy during the 2024 elections.
There were alleged cases of irregularities.
In view of this, the re-collation was ordered to ensure fairness and transparency.
