Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has encouraged party members to reject a letter circulating on social media requesting that party nominees from constituencies be submitted for appointment.
In a statement, he stated that he was unaware of any such notification from the party’s top leadership.
According to him, the regional executive committee had not been consulted or approved such a decision.
“This is indeed a sole decision of the Regional Secretary without any recourse to laid down party structures. Kindly disregard the letter completely with much seriousness it deserves”.
The Chairman added that the transition team of the President-Elect is diligently working towards a successful handover and is focused on delivering the top 10 policies to be implemented within the first 120 days in office.
