The West African Examination Council (WAEC) says it has received an additional GHc 35 million from the Ministry of Education.
The amount WAEC noted is to enable it to complete scanning of the objective answer cards and conclude processing of release for the WASSCE for school candidates, 2024.
A statement issued and signed by Head of Public Relations, John K. Kapi, revealed that WAEC is working around the clock to ensure that the results are released by the end of the month.
WAEC has also appealed to the Ministry to release all outstanding balances to enable it to pay supervisors, invigilators, prior checkers, suppliers of examination materials, and also meet its financial obligations.
