Kingsley Adumattah Agyapong, also known as Wofa K, the Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) UK chapter, has advised the incoming National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration not to use Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) to persecute its political opponents.
He said the country is guided by laws, and persons who have offended the law must be subjected to due process.
He called on the incoming government to ensure that all those who would be voted for corruption would be dragged to court for the court to determine the outcome.
If indeed they have strong evidence to prove that someone had engaged in corruption and corruption related activities, and not that the NDC wants to engage political gimmicks and persecutions and genuinely they have evidmece to prove beyond doubt that som nobody has offend the law, there are laws to deal with the matter.
They should follow the right procedure, taking the person through the process and taking them to court for the court to determine what the outcome is. They should not use that as an opportunity to come after their political opponents. They should not take the ale into their own hands and intimidate their opponents. They should do due diligence and ensure that the accusations are true,” he said in in an interview on Rainbow Radio.
