The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has filed a notice of appeal after the High Court granted NPP’s mandamus application, ordering the EC to complete collation & declaration of parliamentary results in some four disputed constituencies.
The constituencies are Tema Central, Ablekuma North, Okaikwei Central, and Techiman South.
The Court also ordered the Electoral Commission to complete the collation in all ten constituencies and redeclare the results.
It further ordered the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to provide the Electoral Commission with adequate security to complete the processes.
But the NDC has disagreed with the order of the court and filed an appeal.
