A political analyst, Nana Piesie Anto, has called on political parties and individuals who contest the 2024 general elections to rally behind President John Dramani Mahama in developing the country.
He stated that the political season was over and the development of the country was now the most important thing we must all consider.
He asserted that the divisiveness and vilification were no longer important, but patriotism, nationalism, and unity were the things we need now to develop Ghana.
Speaking in an interview on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, he said Ghana would have to develop, and the president must be supported.
“The partisan politics was over. What we need now is unity, stability, patriotism, and the national agenda. The political parties must support President John Mahama. It is no longer important to be so partisan and associate with your party and wish Ghana evil. We have a duty and a collective agenda in supporting the elected president to manage the country.”
He was also excited that several heads of state and former presidents participated in the inauguration.
He said the speech delivered by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has affirmed Ghana’s position as the Black Star of Africa, and as responsible citizens, we have a duty in safeguarding that position.
