President John Dramani Mahama has released the second batch of ministerial nominees for the regions and sector ministries.
He has appointed Haruna Iddrisu, the former minority leader, as minister-designate for education.
Agnes Momo Lartey, Abla Gzifa Gomashie, and Eric Opoku have been appointed ministers-designate for the Gender, Agriculture, and Creative Arts Ministries, respectively.
George Opare-Addo, the NDC’s youth organiser, has been appointed the minister-designate for the newly created Ministry of Youth Development and Empowerment.
Ahmed Ibrahim has been pencilled in as Minister-designate for the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs.
The current Majority Chief Whip, Governs Agbodza, will be heading to the Roads and Highways Ministry.
