Mr. Kofi Adams, Member of Parliament for the Buem constituency, has been nominated Minister-designate for Sports and Recreation.
Acting Presidential Spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu announced his nomination in the third batch of ministerial nominations released today, Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
With a Bachelor of Science in Zoology with a focus on Epidemiology of Parasitic Diseases, the 49-year-old has extensive experience in both politics and education.
Responding to the nomination, the lawmaker said “I will gladly accept the Sports Minister position if appointed.”
“Let’s return to grassroot sports and implement it effectively.”
