Parliament has approved President John Dramani Mahama’s ministers-designate for Education, Roads and Highways, and Food and Agriculture.
The nominees Haruna Iddrisu, Governs Agbodza, and Eric Opoku, respectively, were vetted by the Vetting Committee on Monday, January 21, 2025.
After their vetting, the committee submitted the report before the plenary on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
Both sides of the Houses made submissions and debated the report, and the nominees were approved as ministers for their respective ministries.
They would later be sworn into office by President John Dramani Mahama to officially begin work in their various ministries.
The House had earlier on approved the Minister-designate for Finance, Dr. Cassiel Ato Forson, Minister-designate for the Justice Ministry and Attorney, and the Minister-designate for Energy, John Abdulai Jinapor.
