President John Dramani Mahama is set to begin his thank-you tour in the Volta Region on Friday, January 24, 2025.
The President’s tour forms part of his planned nationwide tour after his victory in the 2024 general elections.
Felix Kwakye Ofosu, acting spokesperson for the president, said in a statement that the tour will enable the president to express “sincere appreciation to the people of Ghana for the overwhelming support and trust reposed in him at the 2024 elections.”.
The statement said the tour is to help “solidify the bond between the President and the citizens while celebrating their vital contributions to our nation.”.
