President John Dramani Mahama has stated that serving as Minister of Roads and Highways will be the most difficult job.
He told his newly sworn-in minister, Governs Kwame Agbodza, that “you probably have the most difficult job.”
The president informed him that everyone in Ghana today is complaining about poor roads throughout the country.
According to him, the Minister will be responsible for maintaining existing roads and building new ones to ensure smooth transportation.
President Mahama made the remarks while swearing in six approved ministers who had successfully completed their vetting.
”To you Governs Kwame Agbodza, you probably have one of the most difficult jobs. Everybody in Ghana is complaining about bad roads. you have a duty not to only maintain existing roads but to provide new roads for smooth transportation.’’
