Parliament has approved the nomination of five nominees appointed by President John Dramani Mahama.
The approved persons are Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak as Interior Minister-designate, along with four regional ministers-designate, following a thorough vetting process by the Appointments Committee and debate on the parliamentary floor.
The five individuals have successfully gone through vetting, and the vetting committee submitted the report before the plenary and debated it.
The regional ministers-designate are Ali Adolf John as Northern Regional Minister, John Kwadwo Gyapong as Oti Regional Minister, James Gunu as Volta Regional Minister, and Mrs. Rita Akosua Awatey as Eastern Regional Minister.
President John Dramani Mahama is expected to swear them in so they will officially begin their duties.
