President John Dramani Mahama has appointed James Agyenim-Boateng as the new Managing Director of SIC Insurance Company.
He replaces Hollister Duah-Yentumi, whose appointment has been officially revoked.
The announcement was made on January 27, 2025.
The new Managing Director is a private legal practitioner and an accomplished communications consultant.
His background includes a distinguished career in media and public service.
He served as a presidential staffer at the Office of the Vice President from 2013 to January 2017.
Known for his expertise in governance and strategic communications, he is poised to steer SIC Insurance in a new and innovative direction.
