Three individuals, believed to be residents of Nakpanduri and Bimbagu, suburbs in the Bunkprugu Nakpanduri District of the North East Region, have died in a road accidnet.
The three were travelling in a Corolla X car with an unidentified registration number from Nakpanduri town, returning from a birthday party.
The driver is said to have lost control of the vehicle, which subsequently collided with a tipper truck parked by the roadside.
Unfortunately, none of the occupants survived the crash, and their bodies were burnt beyond recognition at the scene.
The Ghana National Fire Service from Bunkprugu arrived at the scene to rescue the victims, but unfortunately, they had already succumbed to their injuries.
The victims included two female senior high school students and a gentleman, all in their 18s and 20s.
The Police have taken samples of the burnt bodies to the Bunkprugu Government Hospital for further investigation.
