A 42-year-old truck pusher, Isaac Tarior, also known as Ogoro, was allegedly stabbed to death by his friend, Baba Adongo, a 40-year-old truck pusher.
The incident occurred on January 29, 2025, at around 9:00 a.m. in Kombaline, a suburb of Atebubu in the Bono East region.
According to reports, the two had been friends for over five years.
Big Asare, reporting for Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM, stated that the suspect allegedly slashed the throat of the deceased.
The altercation began when they found a dead fowl on their way from work, which led to a misunderstanding.
However, upon reaching home, Baba’s wife agreed to use the fowl to prepare a meal for them. After being served, Isaac allegedly entered Baba’s room and slashed his throat.
The motive behind this action remains unclear, but the Police have initiated an investigation into the matter.
The body of the deceased has been sent to the mortuary, while the suspect is in police custody assisting with the investigation.
Furthermore, it has been revealed that the suspect had previously attacked and stabbed his wife and another individual.
