Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Minister-Designate for Government Communications, has committed to carry out his duties with the highest levels of integrity and transparency.
He has also promised the screening committee that he will not use his post to spread misinformation and deception.
During his vetting on Friday, January 31, Felix Kwakye Ofosu stated that he will perform his duties with honesty, truth, and responsibility.
The nominee told the committee that he is a politician with strong convictions who believes in the importance of adhering firmly to their values, thus he consistently produces material based on verified proof.
.“I am a person of conviction and when I take positions, I consider them carefully and once I take them, unless I am shown verifiable evidence that I am wrong, I stick to them and often, it may rob off some people negatively or wrongly but to the extent that I know it is the right thing to do, I stick to it.
“And so I am not going to be an outlet for churning out misinformation or disinformation to deceive the people.”
