The Ghana Education Service has interdicted the headmaster of Pina Senior High School. Mr. Adams Mahama Issahaku.
His interdiction takes immediate effect, a statement issued by GES said.
He will remain interdicted pending the outcome of a full-scale investigation into a case in which food items were found in his official pickup on his way from the school on February 6, 2025.
The headmaster has been informed that the delivery is on; it is a procedural requirement and does not constitute presumption of guilt.
According to the GES, he will be informed of the outcome of the investigation and subsequent decisions.
He has therefore been directed to hand over the administration of the school and all school property in his possession to the Upper West Regional Director of Education.
The headmaster has also been asked to make himself available to assist with the ongoing investigation when needed and avoid actions that can compromise the investigation.
