Nana Philip Archer appointed Board Chairman of GOIL

President John Dramani Mahama has named Nana Philip Archer as the new Board Chairman of the Ghana Oil Company (GOIL).

The appointee has more than 20 years of leadership and management experience.

He has worked in sales, marketing, cement production, and construction, where he has held senior positions such as CEO and Managing Director at several companies.

He held leadership positions at Dzata Cement and Ghacem Limited, where he oversaw large-scale operations and strategic growth.

Meanwhile, lawyer and management consultant Wonder Victor Kutor has been appointed as a board member of Ghana Oil Company (GOIL).

A legal and management expert, Wonder Victor Kutor holds a Master of Science in Management from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of London. He also has a Professional Qualifying Certificate in Law from the Ghana School of Law and a Master of Arts in Public Affairs from the University of Ghana.

Kutor previously served as Deputy Director of Legal Affairs at the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) and has experience as a law lecturer. His past roles include working as a research assistant at the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum and serving as an elected member of the National Executive Committee of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
