The Office of Special Prosecutor (OSP) has issued a WANTED NOTICE against former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta.
The OSP in the reasons assigned for declaring Ofori-Atta is for him to answer charges in respect of several cases, including Strategic Mobilisation-GRA Contract, Termination of ECG-BXC Contract, National Cathedral Payments, Ambulance Procurement Contract, and Tax Refund Account Utilisation.
The OSP has appealed to persons with information on his whereabouts to alert the office by calling or sending messages via WhatsApp to 0554494499/0554484488.
The OSP revealed that Mr. Ofori-Atta may be in the United States or the United Kingdom.

The OSP last week declared Ofori-Atta a fugitive running from justice.Kissi Agyebeng, the Special Prosecutor told journalists that “Mr. Ofori-Atta, 66, who served as Finance Minister from 2017 to 2024, is implicated in multiple cases, including questionable contracts between Strategic Mobilisation Ghana Limited and the Ghana Revenue Authority, as well as alleged corruption regarding the National Cathedral project and the purchase of ambulances for the National Ambulance Service.Despite an offer from his legal team to cooperate remotely, the OSP demanded Ofori-Atta’s physical return to Ghana.Following his failure to respond by the stipulated deadline, the OSP escalated the matter, announcing Ofori-Atta as a wanted fugitive.’’
