The Community Smile Foundation has donated medications to the Kobreso Health Centre in the Ashanti Region’s Offinso North Constituency.Mr. Eric Effah, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), led the non-governmental organisation.
The donated items included essential medicines and medical supplies to help improve healthcare delivery in the area.
The event was attended by chiefs, opinion leaders, residents, and healthcare staff, all of whom were there to witness the foundation’s unprecedented gesture.
Dr. Joel Brefo, Midwifery Officer Randy Essandoh, and the clinic’s nurses and staff expressed their gratitude for the support while accepting the items on behalf of the facility.
They stated that these supplies would significantly improve healthcare services for the residents of Kobreso and the surrounding communities.
In his remarks, the CEO stated that “this is only the beginning.” We have heard your concerns, and the Community Smile Foundation will continue to work to improve healthcare services in this community,” he stated.
Mr. Eric Effah was accompanied by a delegation of notable traditional and community leaders, including the Krontihene of Brohoma, Chief Linguist of Kobreso, Joe Owusu Boateng, Obaa Hemaa of Kobreso Traditional Council, Yaa Akyea, Wife of the Krontihene of Kobreso, Kwame Owusu, Maame Akosua, Nathaniel Ofori, Opanin Atta – Opinion Leaders and Members of the Kobreso Township.
