Veteran Ghanaian actor Mawuli Semevo has passed away at the age of 63.
The actor died due to injuries he sustained after a fire outbreak that hit his residence a week ago.
He was admitted at the Ridge Hospital where he was receiving treatment.
But he died on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at Ridge Hospital.
He was admitted at the hospital after sustaining severe burns in a fire accident about a week ago.
Another Ghanaian actor took to Facebook in announcing the death of the actor and wished him a peaceful rest.
“Rest In Perfect Peace, Senior Mawuli Semevo,” Ken Fiati, wrote on Facebook.
The late actor was a member of the Abibigroma, the resident theatre group at the National Theatre.
He featured in films such as Harvest at 17, A Stab in the Dark, Escape of Love, Like Cotton Twines, and The Good Old Days: The Love of AA.
