Political analyst Emmanuel Nti has commended President John Dramani Mahama for the ministers he has appointed to the cabinet.
He posited that the various ministers and ministries in the cabinet are the key and crucial ministers for national development.
Mr. Nti stated that if we want to develop as a country, these are the key ministers that ought to be in the cabinet.
He was speaking on Nyankonton Mu Nsem on Rainbow Radio 87.5FM.
“The law mandates the President to appoint his cabinet not less than ten and more than 19. He has fulfilled the constitutional mandate. If you also take a look at the ministers in the cabinet, they are the key people needed to help him manage the affairs of state. If we want to develop the country, these are the integral ministers we need in the cabinet. You cannot develop the country and exclude the ministers of finance, health, and agriculture.
I strongly believe that the ministers appointed to the cabinet will help him develop the country. It is the right set and a step in the right direction. President Mahama’s cabinet is solid, and we only pray that God will grant them wisdom to transform the country. So my general overview is that the whole set he has constituted is the right set in the right direction.”
Emmanuel Nti added that the most important thing is that we need results and those who have been appointed to the cabinet should have the interest of Ghanaians at heart and help the President deliver on his mandate.
