A military officer has reportedly died, following an accident involving an armoured vehicle at Saka, a community in the Bawku West District of the Upper East Region.
Several others have also sustained severe injuries.
Rainbowradioonline.com gathered that the soldiers were travelling from Bawku to Bolgatanga when one of the vehicle’s tires burst.
This, according to the information, caused the driver to lose control, resulting in the vehicle overturning.
Some residents in the area supported the police to transport injured officers to the Zebilla District Hospital for medical attention.
The deceased soldier has also been deposited at the mortuary.
