President John Dramani Mahama has appointed new security chiefs for the various security agencies.
Heading to the Ghana Prisons Service as Director-General is DDGP 3 Patience Baffoe-Bonnie.
For the Ghana National Fire Service, he has appointed DCFO Daniella Mawusi Ntow Sarpong.
DCI Samuel Samuel Basentale Amadu has also been appointed Controller-General for the Ghana Immigration Service.
This was contained in a statement issued by Minister of State in Charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu.
No reasons have been assigned for the changes in the leadership of the security agencies, but information available indicates that it forms part of the restructuring in line with the President’s reset agenda.
