President John Dramani Mahama has reassigned Commissioner of Police Maame Tiwaa Addo-Danquah to the Interior Ministry. She will serve as Technical Advisor to the Interior Minister, Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak.
The announcement was made through a letter issued by the Office of the President and signed by Secretary to the President Callistus Mahama.
The reassignment takes immediate effect. President Mahama expressed his gratitude for COP Addo-Danquah’s unwavering dedication, professionalism, and significant contributions to the nation.
He also conveyed confidence in her ability to continue serving Ghana effectively in her new role.
Madam Tiwaa was appointed as Director-General for Research and Planning in a shake-up by the Inspector General of Police Christian Tetteh Yohuno on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. However, the President believes she will best serve as Technical Advisor to the Interior Minister.
