The Electricity Company of Ghana, Accra East Region, has announced that the outage at Ability is due to a faulty transformer.
The power provider said the outage affected residents in Catapilla Junction, Behind Animwaa Apartments, Justice by Grace Hotel, Cedar Point Chemist and surrounding areas.
It assured the general public, particularly those affected, that engineers are on site working to restore power to the affected areas.
“ECG regrets the inconvenience caused to the affected customers,” it added.
In a related development, the ECG says the outage that occurred in part of Ogbojo, Dozen Ayo, St. Thomas Guest House and surrounding areas was caused by a fault on the Twumasewaa Feeder.
