The Ghana Police Service (GPS) has detained a police officer after interdicting her for allegedly pouring hot water on another female officer.
The suspect has been identified as Constable Alonsi Elizabeth.
A statement issued by the GPS disclosed that the suspect poured hot water on a female colleague following an argument between them.
According to GPS, Constable Alonsi will be taken through both internal and disciplinary processes and will also be prosecuted in a court of law.

POLICE WOMAN DETAINED AND INTERDICTED FOR CAUSING HARM
The Ghana Police Service has detained and interdicted Police Constable Alonsi Elizabeth for causing harm. The suspect, poured hot water on a female colleague following an argument between them.
She is currently in custody and will be taken through both internal disciplinary processes and the due processes at the court of law.
Meanwhile, the victim who sustained injuries to parts of her face and her back is in a stable condition and continues to receive medical attention and support.
