A severe downpour occurred on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, resulting in damage to over 20 vehicles parked at the ANC Mall in East Legon.
The vehicles were parked in the mall’s car park. Strong winds and thunder accompanied the rains, destroying the car park shed and causing damage to the affected vehicles.
Social media platforms are circulating videos and photos of the situation.
The heavy rains brought down the shelter covering the parking area, which fell on the vehicles.
Additionally, some trees at the car park fell on some of the cars.
