Afram Plains North Member of Parliament Worlase Kpeli has disclosed that he is a constant affiliate with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the ninth parliament.
The private legal practitioner says he is an affiliate with the majority side because he is caucusing with them.
The independent legislator was responding to a question on whether his votes on proceedings will go in favour of the NDC in the House.
In responding, Mr Kpeli stated that votes are sacred and he would not want to publicly disclose how he will be voting in the House on matters.
“Votes are secret and sacred. So I will answer this question. If you know me so well, you will know that I don’t answer those questions.”
He was, however, quick to add that “I am a constant NDC affiliate as we speak now because I am caucusing with them. Nothing has changed,” he said in the interview.
Worlase Kpeli further commended the government for the comprehensive budget presented by the finance minister, Dr Cassiel Forson.
He opined that if well implemented, the budget will restore Ghana back to its lost glory.
He believes the budget is not complicated and even traders, farmers and every single Ghanaian will understand its content.
